Who I am

This website is run by Isi Peters, trading as GlowInc Marketing, a freelance social media and marketing business based in Manchester. I’m responsible for any personal information you share through this site. If you have any questions, email me at isi@glowincmarketing.co.uk.

What I collect

When you fill in the contact form, I collect your name, your email address, the service you’re interested in and anything you tell me in your message. If you email me directly, I’ll have whatever you include in your email.

I don’t use this site to collect payment details, and I don’t ask for any sensitive information.

Why I use it

I only use your information to reply to your enquiry and, if we decide to work together, to put together a proposal and get things started. I rely on my legitimate interest in responding to people who contact me, and on taking steps you’ve asked for before entering into a contract.

I won’t add you to a mailing list or send you marketing unless you’ve asked me to, and I’ll never sell your information.

Who else handles it

The contact form is processed by Netlify, which hosts this website, and messages are delivered to my business email inbox. These providers only handle your information to provide their service to me. Some of them may store data outside the UK, in which case they use the legal safeguards required by UK data protection law.

This site uses Google Fonts to display text, which means your browser connects to Google’s servers to load the font.

How long I keep it

If we don’t go on to work together, I’ll delete your enquiry within 12 months. If you become a client, I keep business records for as long as I’m legally required to, for example for tax purposes.

Cookies

This website doesn’t use advertising or tracking cookies.

Your rights

You can ask me for a copy of the information I hold about you, ask me to correct or delete it, or object to how I’m using it. Just email isi@glowincmarketing.co.uk.

If you’re unhappy with how I’ve handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
